ENSHROUDED WORLD WORKSPACE
Bring your base with you.
Beta — successful in-game transfers reported. Always work from a backup. Transfers preserve original coordinates and destination NPCs. Downloads pass structural checks; verify the result in Enshrouded before using it as your main save. SV2C is not supported.

How to transfer a base
- Close the game or stop the server. Back up the complete destination save folder.
- Choose the source and destination world ZIPs. Include their
-indexfiles and matching save rotations. Include destination_infofiles when available. Character saves are not needed. - Select every Flame Altar covering the build. Overlapping source claims must travel together. Check coordinates as well as altar names.
- Choose Validate transfer, then Prepare merged world ZIP. Click the Save …zip link below it. Preparing the ZIP does not automatically download it.
- Follow
READ-ME-FIRST.txtin the ZIP. Replace the matching destination save files while the game or server is stopped. - Load the world, inspect buildings, storage and NPCs, then save and reload. Keep your backup until satisfied.
To reuse a base later, choose Export portable base. Load the resulting .emberbase.zip in the source panel. This package goes into Emberbridge, not your game’s save folder.
Compatibility and testing
The project owner has reported successful in-game transfers. This is an independent, experimental tool; that testing does not establish compatibility with every game build, mod or save.
- Supports compatible KSC1 world saves. SV2C and unfamiliar layouts are rejected.
- Bases keep their original coordinates. Translation and rotation are not available.
- Destination named NPCs stay in place. Source named NPCs are excluded; their assignments on copied furniture are cleared.
- The app limits merged worlds to ten altars and input data to 256 MB after ZIP extraction.
- Overlapping destination claims, occupied import areas, duplicate base IDs and shared building-grid cells are blocked.
- Some opaque save fields are preserved without a complete understanding of their game behavior. Read the validation report and test each imported world.
Your saves stay on your device
The transfer code reads and processes saves in your browser. It does not upload them, send them to an AI model or store them on the hosting server. Reloading the page clears the app’s loaded files; downloaded files remain wherever your browser saves them.
Emberbridge includes no app analytics or advertising code. The hosting provider handles normal web requests and may process connection or sign-in information. This statement covers the save-transfer code, not the provider’s infrastructure.
Troubleshooting and issue details
No download appeared
After preparation, click the visible save link. Check your browser’s downloads list and download-blocking indicator. Links remain available until you change the files or altar selection. A red message indicates preparation failed.
Validation is blocked
Read the exact error. Verify that the ZIP includes the active rotation selected by its index, select overlapping source altars together, and check for destination conflicts. Do not remove files at random to bypass validation.
The game cannot load the result
Stop the game or server and restore your complete backup. Keep the failed output, its transfer report and the startup log for investigation.
Download the issue-report template. Include the app version, exact error, steps to reproduce and relevant log excerpt. The validation report may contain altar names, coordinates and save fingerprints; review it before sharing. Do not post entire saves publicly.
An in-app support submission channel is not connected yet. This template is a local download and sends nothing.
